Jill joined Pam Golding Properties in 1998 and
received recognition as Rookie of the Year in 1999. She achieved Gold Club
status in May of 2000. This is awarded to their ‘top agents who have
achieved a consistently high level of service. They have contributed an
outstanding effort to real estate far greater than the accepted norm and
shown the utmost pride in their profession resulting in sales worth millions
of Rands within a specific time period,’ so says the certificate.
In 2001 Jill left the PGP group and took a year ‘out of sales of
residential property’ in which she wrote a manuscript entitled, ‘A Guide to
Buying or Selling a House in South Africa.’ This was submitted to a number
of publishers and New Africa Books, an imprint of Spearhead, have published
the book, which is available at CNA and Exclusive Books.
2002 saw the opening of Jill Fish Properties at 57a Jarvis Road,
Berea, East London and the motto which she has adopted is, ‘ Guided By
Conscience.’
